Photo Restoration

Here at St Neots Picture Framing, we can offer a complete photo Restoration & framing service, from reproducing and restoring digital photographs or old slides, to mounting and framing your finished product so all you need to worry about, it where to put your frame!

Scanning Slides and Photographs – Digital Photo Restoration

If your old photo or slides are damaged, discoloured or in need of a little TLC, we can scan, digitally enhance and ‘repair’ your photograph.  These can either be sent back to you as digital JPGs or you can print and frame them using our own framing services or your own.

Digital Photo Restoration in St. Neots

Your slides or photos may need a little help to get them back to ‘near’ what they would have been originally.  We will need to scan your original photo or slide in order to perform our digital restoration work. Scanning will also pick up all of the creases and imperfections of your photo or slide. In order to produce the best quality photograph, some digital restoration work may be required to bring your photo back to near the original condition.

• Exposure, colour correction and contrast adjustments
• Removing blemishes and imperfections
• Removing or reducing tears and creases
• Adding missing pieces of the photograph
• Adding or removing people or objects from the photograph

Please Note: The above mentioned are only a few of the digital restoration processes that can be performed. We will need to determine what can be restored for each individual photo or slide. Quotes will always be given prior to restoration work started.

Photo Printing

Part of our complete in-house service for photo restoration is the ability to print your photos ready to frame.  Photo-printing is available in different standard sizes, large format and custom sizes.  We can also print your photos to canvas.

Picture Framing

The final stage, if you choose to have your photos framed is to select the layout design, your mount and your frame.  Then just sit back and let us do the rest!
